TswanaFuel  which is part of the LSB Group of Companies in Botswana, is urgently looking for an experienced individuals to join our dynamic team.

Vacancy: Auto-mechanics with heavy-duty experience

Contract Type: On 24-hour call (Effective 15 October 2023 - 14 September 2024)

Location: Kang, Letlhakeng, Takatokwane, Kazungula, Nata

Responsibilities:
Mechanic responsibilities include, but not limited to:

•    General mechanics on the customers trucks and other vehicles owned by the company.
•    Ensure proper performance and safety of vehicles and equipment.
•    Estimate time and materials required to perform major and minor repairs.
•    To analyse engine performance and perform tune ups as needed.
•    Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventative care.
•    Be on standby and attend vehicle break downs at any time.
•    Make runs for spare parts and negotiate prices.
•    Have good understanding of vehicle faults and where to look for the problems.
•    Responsible for operating a variety of truck models.
•    Ability to safely operate mechanism for loading, compressing, and offloading fuel.


Requirements:
•    A qualification in Auto-Mechanics from an accredited institution.
•    A minimum of 3 years' experience with reputable companies.
•    Heavy-duty drivers' license added advantage.
•    Outstanding driving and mechanics skills.
•    Diligent with great attention to detail.
•    Interpersonal skills.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent organizational and communication skillsl
•    Must have your own vehicle.
